Application to Person (A2P) SMS & Voice Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all A2P SMS & Voice messages sent by Occidental Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Oxy”), and they supplement Oxy’s website Terms of Use, which are incorporated by reference.
Oxy A2P SMS & Voice Program
Oxy develops and operates internal business applications that send notifications and alerts. By signing up for Oxy A2P SMS & Voice, you are opting in to receive communications from Oxy. You may customize the notifications and alerts you receive and choose to receive them via SMS or voice messages by updating your preferences in the application website or mobile app. Notifications may occur daily, weekly, or monthly. Alerts can occur at any time. Each notification or alert you subscribe to will result in one message. If the message exceeds 160 characters, it might be split into multiple messages.
Most Major U.S. Carriers support Oxy SMS and voice messages.

Contact information provided for the Oxy A2P SMS & Voice program will be used solely for notification and alert purposes. Managing Preferences
You may opt out of Oxy A2P SMS & Voice messages at any time by:
- Updating your preferences in the application website or mobile app,
- Replying STOP to any received message,
- Calling 1-800-699-4357 (Oxy-Help).

Messaging Disclaimer
Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carriers to you.
Notifications, alerts and commands, including HELP, GETINFO or STOP, may be delayed or not delivered for reasons outside Oxy's control, including if you are not in range of a transmission site or if sufficient network capacity is unavailable. None of Oxy nor the wireless carriers guarantees SMS or voice messages will be delivered. None of Oxy nor the wireless carriers is liable for delayed, misdelivered, or undelivered SMS or voice messages.

YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF AND ACCESS TO THE OXY A2P SMS & VOICE MESSAGES ARE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE OXY A2P SMS & VOICE MESSAGES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND AN "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OXY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATING TO THE OXY A2P SMS & VOICE MESSAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS PERFORMANCE, AVAILABILITY, CONTENTS, OR FUNCTIONS), INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, QUALITY OF INFORMATION, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
OXY DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE OXY A2P SMS & VOICE MESSAGES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT YOUR USE OF AND ACCESS TO THE OXY A2P SMS & VOICE MESSAGES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR INSTANTANEOUS, OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE NOTIFICATIONS OR ALERTS CAN OR WILL BE CORRECTED.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT WILL OXY BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, OR OTHER FINANCIAL LOSSES OR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE LOSS OR DAMAGE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE OR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY.
OXY WLL NOT BE LIABLE IF THE OXY A2P SMS & VOICE MESSAGES (OR ANY PART THEREOF) CANNOT BE PROVIDED OR FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM ANY OBLIGATIONS CONTAINED IN THIS AGREEMENT DUE TO, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ANY EVENT BEYOND OUR CONTROL.
IT IS EXPRESSLY UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED THAT IN THE EVENT ANY REMEDY HEREUNDER IS DETERMINED TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, ALL LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND EXCLUSIONS OF DAMAGES WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT.
