Kenneth Dillon is President of International Oil and Gas Operations for Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation, a subsidiary of Occidental.
In this role, Mr. Dillon oversees the company’s operations in the Middle East, North Africa, South America and Gulf of Mexico, as well as major projects. These flagship assets produce approximately 395,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Occidental is one of the largest gas producers in the Middle East, one of the largest sour gas producers in the world and the largest acreage holder in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Dillon also serves as Occidental’s representative on the boards of Dolphin Energy and ADNOC Sour Gas, and on the management committees for our operations in Oman.
During his more than 25 years with Occidental, Mr. Dillon has held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, business development and operations, including the integration of acquired assets and their workforces. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Operations and Major Projects, responsible for the support, oversight and coordination for the company’s current and future large-scale development projects around the world, including ADNOC Sour Gas. He also had oversight of the facilities engineering and construction functions of Oxy Worldwide Engineering. His prior roles include Senior Vice President and Vice President for Major Projects, President and General Manager of Oxy Permian, and President and General Manager of Occidental of Elk Hills in California.
A native of Scotland, Mr. Dillon holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
