Occidental offers a limited number
of summer internships to students with backgrounds in Petroleum
Engineering, Geophysics and Geology, Land and Health, Environment
and Safety for our oil and gas division. We also offer a limited
number of internships for our corporate operations. |
Our summer intern program stresses "hands on" participation with
an emphasis on completing a summer project. Projects are developed
to add value to our operations while providing an opportunity to
observe your skills and competencies in action. Our interns
are paired with a mentor whose role is to provide you with guidance
and encouragement. Our internships assess your potential long
term career fit within our organization, and allow you to determine
if Oxy is right for you.
Oxy is looking for top talent and recruits onsite at 11 universities
throughout the months of September and October. If you attend another
university and are majoring in one of the disciplines listed you
may also send an internship inquiry to Oxy's
recruiting team.
