This summer was such an adventure for me: I moved to a new city, had a new roommate, and started working at Oxy — my first professional job. Oxy provided me with an incredible growth and learning experience.
 
When I first took on my summer intern project to optimize H₂S treatment in the Hugoton asset, I was a little intimidated. Facing a full-scale, professional project and communicating with seasoned veterans was no small task. However, with the support of my team, I quickly found greater comfort in my role, and am proud of the results of my project.
 
I ultimately enjoyed the chance to present my work to my mentor. I took a lot of pride in my project and appreciated the opportunity to share my enthusiasm with others.
